Why is the reflective tape segmented instead of solid?

Solid tape traps heat and stiffens where it's applied. Segmented tape breathes and flexes with you, so the hoodie stays comfortable and moves naturally while still lighting up in low light.

CAT 3 at 28 cal/cm² — a meaningful step up from the CAT 2 garments in this line. It meets NFPA 70E/ASTM F1506 and is UL classified to NFPA 2112 for both arc flash and flash fire.
